1. Begin to assemble your pendant by using flush cutters to cut off the loops on each of your frog and leaf charms. You can file away any rough edges with the Vintaj metal file.
2. Please watch this video on how to paint charms and bezels with Vintaj Patina for use with resin. Based on the technique shown in the video, paint the inside of your bezel with two coats of Green Opal patina. Also paint your frog charm with Moss patina. Let dry for at least 30 minutes.
3. Apply a dab of E6000 glue to the underside of your gold leaf charm and set it into the bezel (see photo for reference). Then set your frog charm in this same manner. Let the glue dry for at least one hour.
4. Please watch the video: How to Use Nunn Design Resin. Put on your disposable gloves and face mask. Based on the instructions in the video, measure your resin and stir gently with a craft stick until all striations are gone. Once fully mixed, use the stick to drip the resin into the bezel a few drops at a time, until the resin forms a low dome over the top of the bezel. Remove any air bubbles with a heat source such a small torch. Allow the resin to cure in a well-ventilated and dust-free area for three days.
5. To make your pendant into a necklace: Use flush cutters to cut 20.5 inches of cable chain, and slide on the loop of your pendant. Open a 5mm jump ring and attach the loop of your lobster clasp onto one end of your chain. Close the jump ring. Open another jump ring and slide it onto the opposite end of your chain. Close the jump ring. Enjoy!
