Featuring turquoise gemstone chips and Austrian crystal pearls, this long knotted necklace is the perfect summer accessory.

This necklace measures approximately 27 inches, with the charm hanging an additional 8 inches. To modify the length, simply adjust the length of beads knotted on both sides respectively.

Begin by watching our video: How to Do Pearl Knotting Using Tweezers. From what you learned in the video, begin the strand by adding one knot cover with glue and then begin knotting with a pearl, alternating with turquoise chips. Continue this for about 16 inches. Leave it unfinished and set this piece aside.
Repeat to create a second strand.
Next open one jump ring and attach it to one knot cover and close the jump ring.
Open another jump ring and attach it to the other knot cover and to one lobster clasp.
Clasp the two strands together. Now, bring the two strands together and tie them in an overhand knot. Because of the chips, you will need to work the knot so it sits in the center evenly.
Now you have two unfinished strands. This is where you can adjust the length. As seen in the photo, the strand with the small feather hangs two inches below the knot. The strand with the long feather hangs 4 inches below the knot. For the longer strand, add additional beads.
Once you are happy with both lengths, add the knot covers and glue.
Finally using one jump ring attach the smaller feather to the shorter strand. Then attach the longer feather to the longer strand with another jump ring.
