A warm assortment of Czech glass 2-hole Ginko beads are strung with bronze brick beads and opaline fire polish beads in this double strand bracelet. Toho demi round seed beads in sizes 11/0 and 8/0 fill out the design, adding a bright metallic accent. The bracelet is finished with a TierraCast Heirloom 2 loop toggle clasp.

Instructions

These instructions will make a 6.5 inch bracelet. For a longer or shorter bracelet, adjust the number of beads strung accordingly. Please watch our video on using demi rounds as spacers with Ginko beads. This video includes helpful tips for how to incorporate Toho 8/0 and 11/0 demi round seed beads into this bracelet design.

Begin by using flush cutters to cut two 12 inch lengths of beading wire. Onto one end of both strands, attach a bead stopper.
Onto one strand, string on one 8/0 demi round, one 11/0 demi round, one red Ginko bead through the wide end, one 11/0 demi round, one 8/0 demi round, and one fire polish bead. Repeat this step in reverse to mirror the pattern. Then string on one brick bead.
Repeat the above step, this time using green Ginko beads.
Continue the pattern described in steps two and three for a total of 12 Ginko beads.
Repeat steps 2 through 4 on your second strand of beading wire by stringing on demi rounds in the order described above, and sending the wire through the second hole of each 2-hole bead as your pattern indicates.
Once all your beads are strung, add a crimp tube onto the end of one strand. Thread the wire through a loop on one side of your toggle clasp and back through the crimp tube. Pull snug and crimp the crimp tube. Clip the excess wire and add a crimp cover. Repeat this step to attach your second strand to the other loop on your toggle.
Remove the bead stopper and repeat the previous step to attach both loops of your toggle clasp on the opposite end of your bracelet. Enjoy!
