Hi, this is Julie with Beadaholique.com and I'm going to show you how to make a really quick and easy yet lovely pair of earrings and this project came about because I was poking around on our website and I saw two different products that look like they just belonged together the first one is this simulated gemstone glass bead. It's glass, not gemstone but it does look like dark green Chalcedony or perhaps a jade and then it's filigree long bead caps. This measures 40 millimeters long and this is 10 millimeters wide by 30 millimeters long and they just looked like they belonged together So I put them together and I made a quick yet lovely pair of earrings, at least I think they're lovely and the funny thing about this is Karlin our other designer just a few days before made this using the same components but in different colors and she put it on a necklace I hadn't seen that she did this and then I showed her my earring and she showed me this and we both had a good laugh over that because we both were thinking the exact same thing so I thought you might enjoy this. Super easy to make this pair of earrings You'll need head pins, you'll want a long one. This one is three inches you need the glass drop, the filigree bead cone and earring hook. For tools you'll need a cutter, a chain nose plier and either an round nose plier or this half round plier which I love go ahead take the head pin and put it through the drop and you put that through the bead cone and I like to just squeeze it a little bit so it sits a little bit further down and this is very flexible, you can actually bend this metal so you can squeeze it a bit have it sit right on it. Take my half round pliers and I am going to just give it a squeeze that creates half of my loop rotate, still holding it finish off my loop and bend it back ever so slightly so it's more upright and then while I'm still holding this with my pliers I'm just going to create a wrapped wire loop trim off the excess with my cutter and then straighten it up and tuck in that tail with my chain nose pliers now to open the earring hook base I'm gonna open it like a jump ring. Slip on the wrapped wire loop and close it and just like that you have a really simple yet elegant pair of earrings. So I hope you enjoyed this quick video.
