Retired - Aymara Necklace

1. Please watch the video: How to Make a Wire Wrapped God's Eye. Using what you have learned in the video, create your god's eye focal using antiqued brass wire, apollo gold Czech glass beads, plum and cream seed beads. Also attach your dark red tassel. Set your completed focal aside.
2. To assemble your necklace: Begin by using flush cutters to cut the following lengths of antiqued copper 2mm rolo chain: ten 0.5 inch lengths, and two 4 inch lengths.
3. If you are new to making beaded link chain, please watch this video. Based on what you have learned in the video, begin by using pliers to open the loop of one eye pin. Slide on the end link of one 0.5 inch chain. Close the loop. Onto the eye pin, slide one 4mm Czech glass bead. Above the bead, make a simple wire loop, sliding on the end link of another 0.5 inch chain. Continue this pattern to create a length of five beaded links with 0.5 inches of chain in between each bead. Onto the end loop of your fifth beaded link, slide on the end link of one 4 inch chain. Close the loop. Repeat this step to assemble the beaded link chain on other side of your necklace.
4. To attach your god's eye: Use pliers to open a jump ring, and slide on the top loop of your wire wrapped focal. Also slide on the endmost links of the two 0.5 inch chain lengths on either side of your beaded link chains created in the previous steps. Close the jump ring. Note: If needed, use pliers to gently rotate the top loop of your god's eye so that it faces forward.
5. To attach your clasp and chain extender: Open a 4mm jump ring and slide on the end link of chain on one side of your necklace. Also slide on the loop of your clasp. Close the jump ring. Repeat this step on the opposite side of your necklace, this time sliding on the end link of your chain extender. Enjoy!
