This bracelet measures 7.25 inches total. To modify the size, adjust the length of S-lon cord and the number of bands woven on each side respectively. If you are not using a tying station, you will also need some tape to attach one end of your bracelet to a tabletop while you work.
- If you are new to chevron friendship bracelet weaving, please watch our video: How to Weave a Chevron Friendship Bracelet with a Button Clasp. Using what you have learned in the video, begin by cutting 6 feet of each of your 4 S-Lon cords.
- Fold your cords in half and tie an overhand knot, creating a 1 inch loop at the top. Attach your loop to the tabletop using tape, or load it onto your tying station. Follow along with the video to create a 2.75 inch length of chevron weaving, alternating your bands of color as follows: Blue, Chartreuse, Magenta, Natural Beige.
- Next, please watch our video: How to Finish Friendship Bracelet Weaving With Ribbon Crimps. Using what you have learned in the video, attach ribbon crimps to either side of you weave.
- Repeat steps 1-3 to create a second section of chevron weaving for the opposite side of your bracelet.
- Attach your tree connector focal in the center of your bracelet as follows: use pliers to open a 5mm jump ring, and string on the loop of one ribbon crimp. Also string on one side of your tree connector. Refer to the photo to achieve the proper orientation of the weave with points facing inward, and make sure the centerpiece is facing forward. Close the jump ring
- Repeat the above step to attach the other section of chevron weave to the opposite side of your tree connector.
- To attach your clasp, open another jump ring and string on the loop of your clasp. Also string on the loop of the ribbon crimp on one end of your bracelet. Close the jump ring.
- Finally, open another jump ring and string on the loop of your ribbon crimp on the other end of your bracelet. Close the jump ring. Enjoy!
