Retired - Sakura Shine Necklace

1. Using scissors, cut out the Nunn Design flower collage image that fits the half oval pendant.
2. Using a toothpick, line the inside base of the bezel with Crafter's Pick glue. Set your flower image into the bezel, press it down, and use your toothpick to remove any excess glue from along the sides of the image. Then apply a small dab of glue to each of your three copper spacers, and place them as desired along the bottom right side of the bezel on top of your collage paper. Let the glue dry for several hours until it appears clear.
3. Please watch the video: How to Use Nunn Design Resin. Put on your disposable gloves and face mask. Based on the instructions in the video, measure your resin and stir with a popsicle stick until all striations are gone. When it is fully mixed, use the stick to drip the resin into the bezel a few drops at a time, until the resin forms a low dome over the top of the bezel. Remove any air bubbles with a heat source such as a small torch. Allow the resin to cure in a dust-free area for three days.
4. To make the beaded chain for hanging your pendant, begin by using flush cutters to cut twelve 1 inch lengths of chain. Set aside.
5. Next, cut one 2 inch length of wire. Using round nose pliers, create a wrapped wire loop on one end of the wire, latching the wrap onto the end link of one of your chain sections before closing the wrap. String on one bicone bead, then create another wrapped wire loop on the other side of the bead, latching the wrap onto another chain section before closing the wrap.
6. Repeat the above step 5 more times, for a total of 6 chain-and-bead units.
7. Connect one of your chain-and-bead units to your resin pendant by cutting 2 inches of wire and creating another wrapped wire loop, latching the wrap onto the end link of one of your chain-and-bead unit before closing the wrap. String on one bicone bead, then create another wrapped wire loop on the other side of the bead, this time latching the wrap onto the loop of your pendant before closing the wrap.
8. Connect another chain-and-bead unit onto this side of the necklace by cutting 2 inches of wire and creating a wrapped wire loop, latching the wrap onto the end link of another chain-and-bead section before closing the wrap. String on a bicone bead, and repeat this step to latch it onto your previous chain-and-bead unit. Repeat this step once more to add the final chain-and-bead unit to this side of the necklace.
9. Repeat steps 7-8 to assemble the other side of your necklace by linking 3 chain-and-bead units together in the same fashion.
10. To attach the clasp, open a jump ring. Slide it through the last link on one side of the chain, and also slide on the loop of your clasp. Close the jump ring.
11. Open another jump ring. Slide on the last link of chain on the other side of the necklace. Close the jump ring.
12. Enjoy your necklace!
