Retired - Name Plate Regaliz Cork Bracelet

1. To make this bracelet, start by watching the video: How to Measure and Assemble a Regaliz Flat Cork Cord Bracelet.
2. In this video you will learn how to measure and cut the cork, add the beads, attach the clasp, and finish the bracelet.
3. Based upon what you learned in the video, cut your cork so that you have a length that is 6 1/8" long.
4. Watch the video: How to Use Metal Punches. Using the technique demonstrated in the video, stamp your desired name or word onto the flat tag.
5. Apply the Vintaj patina to the stamped letters and use a paper towel to wipe away the excess. Allow to dry.
6. Then use the larger hole on the metal hole punch to make the holes on your flat tag larger. Line up the outside edge with the edge of the punch (you can look through the hole on the bottom) so that your holes don't get too close to the outside edges.
7. Place your tag centered on your cork cord and mark the holes with a pencil.
8. Using the larger size hole punch, punch holes in your cork at the pencil marks.
9. Attach the flat tag with compression rivets as demonstrated in this video.
10. Use your fingers to very gently bend the flat tag into a slight curve to fit the shape of your wrist.
11. Place some glue into the recess on one side of your clasp and slip one end of the cork into the recess. Allow to dry.
12. Repeat the previous step on the other side of your bracelet.
13. Allow all glue to dry thoroughly before wearing.
