Quick Tip: Ways to Use Rubber O-Rings in Chain Maille

You can use rubber o-rings in chain maille wherever you would use closed jump rings. By utilizing the rubber o-rings you can add color and patterns to even your most basic chain maille weaves. You will also be adding stretch with the rubber o-rings which means that for many designs you will not need a clasp.

Hi, this is Kat with beadaholique.com and if ur entices we have a seven point two five millimeter a ten millimeter and a 12 millimeter size now here's a couple examples of stuff that I've done and this is using the 12 millimeter size this is a helmet Ain and as you can see it's nice and stretchy so you can kind of get that nice bangle look and it's nice and flexible as well now this is the same thing just done in a smaller size but it's the exact same leave and I kind of did this little chainmail ring which is really kind of fun and this also has a little bit of give to it as well there's a couple different other ones here this is just something I just did just kind of adding a little bit of color which is another great thing about the rubber o-rings and then this last one here is definitely a chain maille weave but what's nice is it gives that pop of color through the back of those silver rings I will have some other videos showing you how to do some of these leaves so be sure to check out beadaholique.com to get your rubber o-rings to use in your chain mail and to find more videos you
