Neopolitan Peyote Ring (Reboot)

This bead woven ring features a Miyuki Delica color palette of four tones reminiscent of the traditional Neapolitan color scheme. Odd count peyote stitch culminates in a seamless join for a clean, invisible finish.
Reboot: The original palette used in this project has been discontinued. This project has been rebooted using a lovely color palettes of rose tones and gold but you can also pick your favorite palette to make this design.

This ring measures size 8. To modify the length, adjust the number of units woven. Update: You can see all the steps below in one video now: How to Make an Odd-Count Peyote Stitch Ring
  1. If you are new to peyote bead weaving, please watch our video: How to Flat Odd-Count Peyote Stitch. Using what you have learned in the video, begin by cutting 4 feet of beading thread. String on your needle and a stopper bead.
  2. Weave your desired length of flat odd-count peyote stitch that is 9 beads wide, creating repeating bands of each color that are 3 beads long in the following order: bronze, pink, turquoise, and white (see photo for reference).
  3. To create the seamless join for your ring, please watch the video: How to Zip Up Peyote Stitch With a Seamless Join. Using what you have learned, connect the two sides of your ring by weaving them together as shown in the video. Tie off and weave in your thread. Enjoy your ring!
