By following the instructions below you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring.
- Begin by gluing one cabochon to Lacy's Stiff Stuff. Cut around the cabochon so that you have a workable surface all around. I like to give myself about a 2"x2" square.
- Cut a piece of Nymo thread about 3 feet. Using the lime green 11/0 seed beads, do a backstitch row around the cabochon. Tie in your thread.
- Cut another piece of Nymo thread about 3 feet. Now using the 15/0 ivory seed beads you are going to create a bezel row. Tie in your thread.
- Now you will need to trim the foundation and add the cream ultra suede backing.
- Using the 11/0 ivory seed beads, you will create a beaded edge all the way around the cabochon. As you are going around the "point" of the pear, attach one closed jump ring into the centered thread bridge. Go back through the loop once more for security, then continue with the beaded edge. Tie in your thread.
- You will repeat this whole process once more to complete the second bead embroidered pear drop.
- Now that you have two embroidered pears, you will connect them using a link of 5 open jump rings. To one of the closed jump rings, attach one open jump ring. You will attach four more open jump rings to create a "link". When you get to the last jump ring, close it around the closed jump ring of the other pear.
- Flip the earring over, use E6000 to glue on the earring post to the top center of the pear. Please see photo for reference.
- Add your earring back and you are all set.
