Great quality and hold.

plating wears off

This clasp has a very good magnet. Thus, the 2 stars But the plating wears off almost instantly. I made an ankle bracelet, wore it once for 4 hours and almost all of the plating had worn off.

Thank you for your feedback regarding this item. These magnetic clasps are one of our most popular products with many repeat customers. Unfortunately, as is the case with plated items, the plating can diminish with heavy use against certain skin types with body oils, lotions, or soaps, especially in cases where this is a lot of movement such as with an anklet. For finished pieces that may rub back and forth against the skin often, we recommend sterling silver, silver filled, or gold filled components.
