Retired - Velvet Studded Tassel Earrings

1. Begin by adding a dab of glue to the well of the Rivoli setting and placing the crystal into the setting. Set aside to dry.
2. Please watch our video: How to Make a Tassel using Ultra Suede Fabric Strips.
3. Cut a strip of ultra suede 2.5 inches long x 2 inches wide.
4. Along the side that is 2.5 inches, cut slits about 1/4 inch apart up to the 1 3/4 inch mark.
5. Note: You can place the crystals as you like but here is the pattern of this example. Please follow the instructions and safety tips on the package for your Hotfix Crystal Applicator. On to the first, third and fifth strip, place 7 crystals about 5mm apart. On to the second, fourth, seventh and ninth, place 6 crystals about 5mm apart so that they alternate the spacing of the first set of strips with 7 crystals on them.
6. Roll up the strip starting at the end without the crystals, so the crystals end up on the outside. Add a dab a glue to the well of the end cap and place the tassel inside. Allow to dry.
7. Open one jump ring and attach it to the loop of the end cap and to one loop of the Rivoli Setting. Close the jump ring.
8. Open the loop of the earring finding same as you would a jump ring and attach it to the other side of the Rivoli link. Close the loop.
9. Please allow the earring to dry for at least 24 hours before wearing.
