A cluster of moss agate beads nestles amidst Nunn Design elements in this antiqued silver necklace. The design is easily assembled using 8mm twisted rope jump rings, with 4mm gemstone beads hung on head pins using wrapped wire loops.
Reboot: The pictured gemstone beads originally used are no longer available but we have chosen lovely amazonite gemstone beads of the same size to replace them.

Instructions

These instructions will make a 24 inch necklace. To adjust the size, choose your desired length of chain. For a longer necklace, you will need to purchase more chain. If you wish to use a clasp, we recommend a lobster clasp and jump ring.

Begin by using flush cutters to cut 24 inches of chain.
Use pliers to open an 8mm jump ring. Slide on the two end links of your chain. Close the jump ring.
Open a second jump ring and slide on your hammered circle. Also slide on your jump ring from step 2. Close the jump ring.
Now open a third jump ring and slide on the hole of your fern charm. Also slide on your hammered circle. Close the jump ring.
Onto a head pin, slide one 4mm gemstone bead. Make a wrapped wire loop above the bead, latching it onto your hammered circle before closing the loop. Repeat this step nine more times for a total of 10 gemstone beads, with 5 beads hanging on either side of the jump ring attaching your fern charm (see photo for reference).
