This sunburst earring design is bead-woven using Czech Glass 2-Hole SuperDuo beads with Cymbal Bead Substitutes and Bead Endings. Miyuki round 11/0 seed beads add a bright metallic accent.

By following the instructions below, you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring.
  1. Please watch the video: How to Make the SuperDuo Medallion Earrings with Cymbal Bead Findings. In this video, you will see from start to finish how to bead weave this design using Czech glass 2-Hole SuperDuo beads, Cymbal Bead Substitutes and Bead Endings, as well as how to attach an earring hook.

  • BMB-0044 - Cymbal Bead Substitute for SuperDuo Beads, Vitali, 2-Hole 5x2mm, 12 Pieces, Antiqued Silver Plated
    Project uses 8 pieces. You will need 1 package.

  • FCO-537 - Cymbal Bead Endings fit Superduo Beads, Kolympos, 6.5mm, 4 Pieces, Antiqued Silver
    Project uses 2 pieces. You will need 1 package.

  • FEA-3025 - Silver Plated Long Elegant Earring Hooks 25x16.5mm (50)
    Project uses 2 pieces. You will need 1 package.

  • DMRR-4212 - Miyuki Round Seed Beads, 11/0 Size, 8.5 Gram Tube, 4212 Duracoat Galvanized Dark Berry
    Project uses 1 tube. You will need 1 package.

  • XCR-1285 - FireLine Braided Beading Thread, 4lb Test and 0.005 Thick, 15 Yards, Smoke Gray
    Project uses 18 inches. You will need 1 package.
