Retired - Summer Sizzle Ring

1. Before you begin, watch the instructional videos: How to Use a Bead Loom and How to Finish and Back Loom Weaving.
2. String a beading loom with white NYMO beading thread, laying 14 strands across.
3. As demonstrated in the first video, weave together Miyuki Delica 10/0 seed beads in silver lined chartreuse and silver lined blue zircon. Follow the pattern in the chart for placement.
4. Tie off and weave in your working threads (the weft threads).
5. Cut the work from the loom, leaving a few inches to either side of your work. Tie the warp threads in pairs in overhand knots close to the beading, as shown in the second video. Trim the warp threads to about 3/4".
6. Flip your work over to the back side. Apply some E6000 glue to the back of the piece. Neatly lay the loose warp thread ends into the glue, making sure the threads are folded snugly to the back without pulling them too tight.
7. Apply a thin but ample coat of E6000 to the bottom of a bright silver tone brass square bezel adjustable ring. Make sure you get the glue all the way into the sides and corners. Work quickly so that the glue does not start to set before you glue in your work.
8. Lay your beadwork into the bezel, with the glued down threads down. Press the piece down into the glue, making sure that the corners and sides are glued down.
9. Allow the glue to dry for at least 24 hours.
10. Place two square objects of the same height right next to each other, creating a flat surface. Scoot them apart just enough to slide the ring portion of your bezel ring between them, so that the bezel part is laying flat on the top surface.
11. Mix your resin and fill your bezel with resin. Check back after a few minutes and if any bubbles have risen to the surface, get rid of them with a heat source such as a micro torch. Check back again another few minutes later and see if any new bubbles have popped up - remove if necessary. Let cure for 3 days.
