This design uses the Create Recklessly Faux Leather and rivets to make an easy watch band complete with a slide end tube clasp. This is a simple technique that you can use for many watch faces to create fun personalized designs.
Instructions

Please note that this design can be made for many sizes. All you need to know is that both sides of the watch band need to be of equal length. Before beginning this project please watch our video to familiarize yourself with Create Recklessly.
  1. Using the rotary cutter, cut a strip of faux leather that is 18mm wide and 10 inches long.
  2. Once you have your length of faux leather, cut it in half so you have two equal pieces, and trim the length of you need to. Note for sizing: I cut two pieces, 18mm x 4 inches each, to make a 6.5 inch watch.
  3. Take one strip and thread it through the bar of the watch face and back so that you have about 3/4 inch folded over.
  4. Take the interchangeable tool kit and using the hole punch tool, punch two holes a little less that 1/2 inch from the watch bar. Both holes should be side by side, about 3/8 inch apart.
  5. Change the tool kit for the rivet and add two cap/post compression rivets. When you add the rivets make sure you are going though both sides of the faux leather.
  6. Repeat this process on the other side of the watch.
  7. Now for this next step you will need to pay close attention to your sizing. The clasp will add about 1/2 inch to the finished piece.
  8. So at your desired length, thread the faux leather through the bar of the clasp and back. Trim the length to fit your size.
  9. Now you will repeat the above instructions to punch two holes and add two rivets.
  10. Repeat this portion of the clasp on the other side.
