This bead woven floral earring combines Czech glass 2-hole SuperDuo beads with 8/0 seed beads and Cymbal Bead Endings. Dangling seed bead accents sway on a fringe of antiqued brass rolo chain.

Instructions

By following the instructions below, you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring.

Begin by using scissors to cut 2 feet of Fireline thread, and thread your size 12 needle.
String on five white SuperDuos alternating with five jet bronze Superduos (see photo for reference), then tie your beads into a ring as shown in the video.
Follow along with the video to "step up" into your second row of bead weaving. Then string one bead between each SuperDuo in the following order: three Cymbal Bead Endings, three 8/0 seed beads, one Cymbal Bead Ending, three 8/0 seed beads (see photo for reference). Note: for added security, continue sewing all the way around the edge of your bead weaving at least once more to reinforce the design. Then tie off and weave in your thread as shown in the video.
Attach your earring hook to the single Cymbal Bead Ending at the top of your bead weaving (see photo for reference) in the same manner as shown in the video.
To hang your chains: Start by using flush cutters to cut nine 1.5 inch lengths of 2mm rolo chain.
Use pliers to open a 4mm jump ring, and slide on the end links of three of the chain lengths from the above step. Also slide on the loop of one of the three Cymbal Bead Ending located at the bottom of your design. Close the jump ring. Repeat this step twice more to attach chain dangles to your other two Cymbal Bead Endings.
To hang your seed bead dangles: Take a headpin and slide on one 8/0 seed bead. Above the bead, make a simple wire loop, sliding on the end link of one of your chain dangles. Close the loop. Repeat this step eight more times for a total of nine seed bead dangles.
