A bright burst of Miyuki Delicas in fiery colors adds heat to your look in these fun, lightweight, bead woven earrings.

By following the instructions below you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring.

Begin by watching our video on how to bead weave a triangle using peyote and herringbone stitches. Cut a 4 foot length of Fireline and thread a size 12 beading needle.
Following the technique in the video, string 3 orange Delica beads, slide them down to the end of the string leaving a 4 inch tail, and tie a knot. Step up and create a second row using herringbone stitch with the orange Delicas.
On your third row, add 1 red Delica bead per side of the triangle between your orange herringbone columns using peyote stitch. On the fourth row, add 2 red Delica beads per side. On the fifth row, add 3 red Delica beads per side.
On your sixth and seventh rows, add gold Delica beads for the herringbone columns and also the peyote sides of the triangle.
Make another pass through your beadwork, adding 1 gold Delica bead between the two beads of each herringbone column, giving each tip of the triangle a point.
Weave in your thread tails.
Open a jump ring and slide it through the gold Delica bead at the tip of one point of the triangle. Also slide on the loop of an earring hook. Close the jump ring.
