Hi, this is Julie with beadaholique.com components and Swarovski crystal fancy stones this is gonna go super fast once I started on it but first I want to show you the actual ingredients we're gonna be using so I have here two antique silver plated lead-free pewter settings and these are in a pair teardrop shape now I pulled the antique silver that's also available in an antique gold as well as a bright silver and I also have the coordinating Nunn design earring hooks and these are these wonderful very dramatic modern earring hooks and they do come on the other finishes as well and then what we're going to be setting down into these little Nunn design settings are fancy stones these are by Swarovski crystal they are the pear-shaped 14 by 10 millimeters and you see that they really do fit in there perfectly I also pulled a few other colors there are more than this but I thought like the scarlet or the emerald was just so pretty and you can see how that would look in the setting so you could go as traditional as you like or as modern as you like with this design so how do you do it and what are the tools you're going to need well your supplies are the two settings the pear earring hooks and the two fancy stones and then you're gonna also need some e6000 glue your only real tool is gonna be a pair of chain nose pliers you're also going to need a couple toothpicks and a scrap piece of paper to put your glue on how do you do this well it's really easy you take your glue put a little bit onto your pad of paper pick up one of your settings and then just carefully put some glue right in here so not on the top part of the setting but just in this well now these are nice settings because like I mentioned before they are lead-free pewter they also really do just surround the stone giving it a really nice elegant frame so there's all the glue that you're going to need and then you are just going to pop that stone in there press it into place and then do your next one there we go just pop it into place press it down a little bit so it goes right into that nice glue line and then to attach it to the earring hook you'll notice that there's this little loop at the base of the hook and it is open meaning that we can open it up just like a jump ring just by twisting it and then we're gonna pop on our earring our setting to our earring just like that you want to be facing out of course and I would recommend letting your crystals dry for the purpose of this video I am fudging it a little bit and doing it while they're still wet I'll just press them back into place there we've got one and we're gonna do the next one and then we'll let our earrings dry overnight so 24 hours just to let that glue really set but then you'll be good to go to wear these for a night out on the town or maybe just wear them to work something special a little dressier than normal and we're all finished that was a very quick and easy way of making a pretty earring and you can find all the supplies for this project and many more at beadaholique.com you
