hi this is Alexandra with beadaholique for you this is the hint of crimson necklace and earring set we'll be making today so for this I'll be using some Swarovski crystals I have an 18 by 13 millimeter pear-shaped stone I've got a few of these shaytans so the SS 39 size which is about eight point five millimeters and then you'll see here that I have the Geeta settings that are specifically designed to accommodate each of those stones I've got a couple of four millimeter jump rings and a one point two millimeter ball chain and then four tools over here I've got the prong pusher tool I've got the smart setter stone setting tool and four pliers I have some chain nose and bent nose micro pliers so let's go ahead and get started I'm just gonna bring in my stones here and there is no glue required with these Geeta designs which is so nice they all fit with these prongs that are very easy to set in using these tools so I'm just gonna set my stone in and get that situated on the table and I'm gonna get a grip on one side and with this prong setter tool I'm going to take the flat square tip of that and just roll the prong in toward the stone very gently making sure I don't scratch the crystal I'm gonna go across ways and get my pressure against this other prong doing sort of a north-south north-south east-west configuration so let me come over this direction and get this one press down you can also use a popsicle stick or wooden craft stick and with that you wouldn't have to worry about scratching the stone but I will say with this tool it's very nice to have a good grip on this nice wooden handle so I'm just passing over these one more time to make sure my stone is good and set there and that's ready to go and now in this beautiful connector that has 13 little rhinestones and so a lot of the work is that's the nice thing a lot of the work is already done for us with these Gaeta settings so I'm gonna put my sheet on in there and now I'm going to bring in the smart setter stone setting tool and you'll see that this size well is specifically designed for the SS 39 size crystal I'm just gonna press it flat down against those prongs onto the table and my stone is set now Tina also makes some wonderful bracelets that have lots of these stones and this tool will be great for if you're doing a lot of setting so now I'm going to move on to the post earring bring my stone in for that and in this case I'm going to bring back the prong pusher tool because of the way that I need to grip this and it's got this post I'm not able to set it down on the table for the Stone setters so we'll do it this way roll those prongs in again gently going cross ways and in the other direction it's leverage here making sure I don't scratch check my work I'm gonna push it push this one one more time so there's one earring and let's do the other one now if you're looking to make gifts or personalize this with birthstone colors for special occasions they come together so quickly and so beautifully and if you're like me and you don't like a lot of bling then this is a nice sort of middle-of-the-road design that gives you just enough sparkle get my prongs pressed down almost done I can feel it wiggling just a little bit so I just keep changing my angle until I feel that firmly set in there and you know let's go ahead and put pendant together for this necklace so I'll bring in my 4 millimeter jump ring with my pliers we'll just slide on the loop of my pendant and connect that with my connector making sure they're both facing front and with my bit player it's gonna grip and close that you have to get that onto the chain we'll just do the same thing take our next jump ring just glide our connector on also in a slide on my ball chain I liked the delicate nature of this chain I thought it looked really nice with the design flip that over yeah beautiful alright so we don't want to forget to put our earring backs on I did take those off before I pressed the stones in just to save my fingers some wear and tear there so here's a completed jewelry set using the Swarovski crystals and Geeta jewelry designs all of these tools and supplies are available at beadaholique.com and be sure to click the bell and subscribe to our youtube channel for all the latest updates thanks for watching
