The fine details of this TierraCast floral pendant are brought to life by a pop of Vintaj patina and given a timeworn feel by a few brushes with a Vintaj relief block. Personalize this piece with your favorite colors of patina!

Instructions

In addition to the materials listed, you will also need some paper towels to complete this project. These materials will make an 18 inch necklace. For a longer or shorter necklace, you can purchase a finished chain necklace of a different length.

To begin, please watch our video on how to use Vintaj patinas. Set out your TierraCast floral pendant on your work surface.
Pour out a little bit of the jade green patina onto your work surface. Using a dry paintbrush, dab the patina into the etched leaves of the floral charm. Quickly wipe away the excess patina with a paper towel. Wait a few minutes for the patina to dry.
Pour out a little bit of the pink petalite patina onto your work surface. Using another dry paintbrush, dab the patina into the etched flower bloom on the floral charm. Quickly blot away the excess patina with a paper towel. Wait about an hour for the patina all over the piece to completely dry.
Take your Vintaj relief block and buff the front of the pendant to remove some of the antiqued finish and reveal the metal highlights of the pendant.
Using pliers, open a jump ring. Slide it through the hole at the top of the floral pendant, and also slide it onto your finished chain necklace. Close the jump ring.
Enjoy your necklace!
