1. Begin by gluing the flat back button cabochon onto the bead embroidery foundation. Video: How to Glue a Cabochon for Bead Embroidery. Allow to dry.
2. Cut a 3' length of black NYMO nylon beading thread and thread a size 12 beading needle with it.
3. For this next step please watch the video: How to Backstitch in Bead Embroidery. Using the 11/0 black toho beads, follow the instruction in the video and make a complete row around the cabochon.
4. For this next step please watch the video: How to Trim the Foundation and Attach the Backing. As seen in the video, glue on your black ultra suede backing and then trim the ultra suede and the beading foundation.
5. Cut a 3' length of black NYMO nylon beading thread and thread a size 12 beading needle with it.
6. To create the finished edge, watch the video: How to Bead Embroider a Basic Beaded Edge. Use the 11/0 toho beads for this beaded edge. Complete an entire edge row of beads around the cabochon.
7. Use a toothpick or scrap piece of wire to apply a thin, even coat of E6000 to the glue pad on a glue on ring finding. Place your beaded piece face down and center the ring finding onto the back. Press firmly, allow to dry for at least an hour.
