These instructions will give you a necklace that is approximately 18 inches.

Take one eye pin and string on one gold bead, one heart, and one gold bead. Make a simple wire loop.
Cut the chain into two equal pieces measuring 9 inches each.
Take one length of chain and attach the end to the eye pin by opening the loop, same as you would a jump ring, and closing it. Repeat this for the other length of chain on the other side of the eye pin.
To the end of each piece of chain, attach one jump ring. To the right piece of chain, attach one lobster clasp to that jump ring.
All done!
