Hi, this is Julie with beadaholique.com and these are super fun playful nice long statement earrings now they're really easy to make I'm going to show you how to make them in just a moment I do want to let you know you have a couple choices of chain tassels at beadaholique one here that I'm using nice delicate chain one this even a little bit smaller and scale and this is actually one that I used in this project here which is another video at beadaholique.com or on our youtube channel and then this is the largest style and what's nice about this particular style is is using curb chain and you can attach dangles or jump rings to that curb chain if you so desire now to make this pair of earrings you're going to need the chain tassels you're going to need some bead caps an eyepin a Swarovski pearl I'm using a 12 millimeter one in Jade and I have a lovely Nunn design earring hook for tools I have a pair of cutters I'm definitely gonna be using one pair of chain nose pliers I might be using a second so I have another pair handy and a pair of wire looping pliers you could also use round nose if you want to do that so to make this like I says really quite easy you take one of the bead caps you put it onto the eye pin facing up you put on your big pearl these do come in other colors as well and you hold it down now if you notice here the loop orientation is important for this particular design let me show you the finished example first so we actually want one loop here going this way to match our earring hook and then we want the other loop down at the bottom facing the opposite direction so when this hangs from your ear we see the nice loop of this large jump ring that's attached to the tassel now that's a personal preference of mine you don't have to do it that way you could have it oriented like this where you don't see that loop but I thought that circle is a really nice design element so you're gonna pay attention to where your loop because you want one to be facing basically horizontal in one vertical so different orientations so we're just going to grab the wire where it exits the bead cap we're gonna have this loop facing me or the side of it facing me I should say we're gonna squeeze with our pliers Bend that wire over rotate it to the top and that's why I like these wire looping pliers because it gives me something to really grab onto and pull that wire around now where it overlaps and Criss crosses is where you're going to cut it right in there now what you're going to do is I'm going to open this up just like a jump ring and slide in this big jump ring now this is also a jump ring on this chain tassel that you could just open and close as well so either way works I mean go ahead put that back in place and now I'm going to open up the loop at the base of my earring hook and slide this on as well really easy to do and now we have our earring complete so that was probably a minute maybe a minute and a half so these are really under five minute earrings for sure and they are just so fun and beachy I just want to wear these to resort somewhere I think they'd be really fun for that let me show you their length really quick cuz I have a ruler right here so if we go from the top of the earring hook down to the base we're looking at about four inches so like I said a nice statement earring I'll let me just measure these tassels for you too so this one here is about two and three quarters this one here from the top to the bottom is a little shy of two and a half and then these guys up here are a little over three so hopefully that gives you a little bit of an idea of scale and size when you're planning out your projects and again all of these are available at beadaholique.com and you can find other design ideas and inspiration in our projects and video section as well thanks for watching I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy tutorial you
