hi this is Alexandra with beadaholique the serpentine spiral earrings for this project I'm going to be using a couple of pewter finding I've got the pewter swirl connectors by Nunn design some pewter spiral beads by Tara cast gold-plated 11 size Toho and galvanized starlight some Bolly style ball ear earring wires and head pins 28 gauge wire and a few tools to use so the first step is I'm going to cut to 1 foot lengths of wire and in my first airing I used a solid 2 foot length of wire and it was just slightly unwieldy so I think that if we use 2 single foot lengths we can do one side and then wrap it up and do the bottom portion that might work a lot easier we'll see how we do so I get my wire cut I love all things spiral and swirls so I was very excited to discover these findings on our website I also had the idea that it might be fun to create the inverse earring with a gold base and silver seed beads and you can even wear one of these if that's your style alright so to begin I'm going to take and quite a bit of wire here up at the top right tight close to that loop and I think that my tools are probably going to help me to get a grip on the wire to bring it through it's tight space so it's a fairly simple wire wrapping technique but it's a little tedious when you're working in tight quarters pull that up and over one more time and then tuck it tight don't want my end catching anywhere so you sure I get that firmly up and flat alright to happen on I'm going to make sure flush and I'll get ready to bring on my first CP line it down and coil through then you keep it up so that it this is flat outward you can see the circle if it comes around and hmm start to look kind of scaly so I'm going to coil around twice between each bead now this one foot length is definitely easier to manage the sender gauge of wire helps to get soft alright and then I add up another bead here bring the wire to so I'll continue this for seven beats on the top and I'm going to close it up just as I did the beginning if you coils and squeezing it down and then I'll begin the next one and that will be eight beads to fill a slightly larger space along the bottom alright last bead for the top becomes easier to work the wire when there's not that spiral to negotiate I'm gonna go ahead and took that tight against the previous bead and coil it closed put the top clip I'm gonna press it up none of the far as I can up there so that it's protected off that open area it's not going to catch on things and ready for my second wire so again I'm going to begin it slightly lower down where could be a little more protected make shit up slide in there ready for my next and I'll do a moron down this side and I'll finish it off the same way as I have previously and then we'll move on to the angle meter where okay I've got my eight feet on there and I'm ready to coil it closed so come along section and go liquid water tight and no I wrapped it symmetrically off of it so it nicely frames the face not kind of so we're ready for one of our head pins and beads when I rap I kind of like to soak it up and make it a little more decorative by doubling back on my wrap so I'll come down once and then up over the top of my first and I'm ready for my airliner and then we'll be finished I want to be sure to send it on the right direction that it land properly which is a trick for the mind there a way to it this way and we go so there's the serpentine spiral earrings all those use materials are available at beadaholique.com you
