Hi this is Megan with Beadaholique.com and today I'm going to show you how to make a little Christmas tree earring out of the new Swarovski Elements dome bead shape and here I have the 11 millimeter of the large version, so there's the small ones which are more rounded and the large ones which are longer and then this is the 11 millimeter in Dark Moss Green it has a very nice Christmas tree color and I also have some head pins and these are just 22 gauge one and a half inch. I have some earring hooks I have four millimeter gold-plated code beads. They're just gold-plated pewter and then I have little three millimeter gold-plated sparkle Stardust beads and 6 millimeter gold-plated bead caps All we're going to do is make a stack on the head pin and create a wrapped wire loop. You're going to need a pair of chain nose pliers and then you're either going to need a pair of round nose pliers or some wire looping pliers and then you do need a pair of flush cutters Take one of your head pins and place your cube bead onto your head pin and then place the dome bead the wide side down onto that, I'm going to place the bead cap down next and the Stardust bead on top and those are the basic pieces they make very cute little trees. We're going to make a wrap wire loop I'm going to use my wire looping pliers. If you're not familiar with how to make a wrapped wire loop we do have a video on how to do that and I do show you in that video how to do the loop with just plain chain nose and round nose this is a really great time saving tool and all you do is grab the wire a bit above the bead, squeeze, bend the tail rotate it around and then just like with a regular wrapped loop your just going to pull the tail around trim the excess off and then you just always wanna make sure that you tuck the little tail at the end in securely so that it's not sharp, it doesn't scratch you when you wear the jewelry, so there's our complete little earring dangle. Now we just need to add it onto the earring hook. Open up the loop on the earring hook by bending it to the side hang your dangle from that and then bend it back to the center to close it up you're going to repeat that process to make another earring.
