Hi, this is Julie meet Holly and I want to show you how to really quickly and easily make an elegant pair of earrings using the Swarovski helium's pendant which is a 20 millimeter one and then all you need is an earring hook some chain and a jump ring and for your tools you only need a couple pairs of chain nose pliers and a cutter so I started for this one here I started with one foot of chain and all I did was I divide it in half so I have six inches each and now what I'm gonna do is I'm going to create a larks head knot around the top of the Helios pendant so I'm gonna divide my chain in half slip it through the hole it's a nice convenient hole and then go ahead and put my chain ends through the loop and pull so that this is what we have now and to trim our chain to make it a nice matched even size I'm going to line this up against a ruler and smooth it out and so from the top of my knot I want to cut at one and a half inches so I'm just gonna take my cutters all right there okay and now I wanna look and see if they're approximately even we have a little bit of room to pull right here pull this guy up a little bit there we go so we're going to open up our jump ring and we're going to slip it through the top chain links here we go and we're gonna slide on our earring hook and we want to make sure that the direction matches the other one we see the loop of the knot is out front so I'm going to actually hang my hook like so and close that jump ring back up lay my second finished one next to the first one and there we have a pretty pair of matched earrings that probably took me less than 90 seconds to make and they're a great pair of earrings to wear for a night out or if you just want something sparkly you can find other quick and easy tutorials like this at beadaholique.com you
