Hi, this is Julie with beadaholique.com so here you see what that beautiful color looks like behind it and what's nice about this is all of these lockets that you see here do come with a little pad and then if you want a colorful one you can purchase one separately as well we have those at beadaholique so there is no piece of glass here which allows that scent to really come through and then what we're going to be using to get that beautiful aromatherapy effect are these essential oils now these are exclusive to buda Halik these are our jewel drops and you get this lovely box of six oils we have tea tree we have lavender lemongrass sweet orange eucalyptus and peppermint and like I said we're gonna make this locket with no tools so we've got our locket and I'm gonna pick one I like this tree I think I think that's it well you know what actually they're so pretty I don't know which one to choose uh-huh maybe I'll choose the scrollwork one that one's really pretty and I clear these extra pads out of the way and I'm gonna start by going ahead and putting this little pad right in here now you see it is specially designed to fit perfectly now I'm gonna preload the pad just because I am going to be opening up an essential oil and pouring a few drops on it and I wouldn't want to do that right on my surface if you're going to be doing it right on your surface here and then transferring the pads the locket I would recommend doing it on like a paper towel or a piece of plastic in case any of that oil seeps through but a really great idea is to just put it in there ahead of time so I really love peppermint peppermint is one of my favorite scents and these are nice in in here so I'm gonna try to get it out without the others coming out there we go you see they're nicely fitted in there for transport so this is peppermint it is a hundred percent pure essential oil there is no carry oil or anything else that's already been added there's no fillers nothing like that so this is very strong and a little bit goes a long ways I would recommend 1 to 2 drops which will last you 1 to 2 days and then when that scent starts to fade you just reapply some extra drops if you want to be stronger you can add more drops so you see it's got this little dropper on here I'm gonna open up my locket and there's like a little area little tab for you to put your fingernail it is magnetic just open that up place that pad in there and now I'm just going to put a couple drops and you see it almost makes it a little bit shiny it was one drop there was two drops close it on up and that's gonna stay in there and of course this is a video so I can't tell you exactly how this smells was really wonderful I love peppermint so in terms of the necklace choice I wanted to pull out some necklaces that would not require any tools so these are all pre-made you see here we have a stainless steel this is just a small sampling of the stainless steel necklaces are pre-made at beadaholique they come with their clasp already attached and they come in a variety of chain styles and links so I'm gonna choose this guy right here he's an 18 inch and what I can do so I can just unhinge him take this end with the jump ring and this opening for the locket is actually big enough to slide it right through so then I'm just gonna go ahead slide it through and reclose it and here is a great gift idea now speaking of gifts I had this idea that I thought would be really fun if you bought one of these essential oil sets you get six bottles you could buy six different lockets and give every person a bottle of oil and a locket you can make cute little gift sets and then of course I finished chain two I'd be a really fun way of creating six quick and easy gifts for your loved ones now if you don't want a stainless steel chain but you still want to go ahead and make this really quick and easy I pull two other options this one here is a waxed cotton cord and if you see here when we undo it this too is big enough to get through that bail on the locket and then this one is actually a rubber cord and it's made for large hole beads and what you can do is you can unscrew one end and you know you can just go ahead and slide that through and then reattach it so again no tools required so that is how you very quickly and very easily make an aromatherapy diffuser necklace you
