Hi, this is Kat with beadaholique.com and just sort of gave them a little bit of dimension by cutting their sides a little bit but it's you know really works like fabric so it's really really neat and I just sort of added them onto a chain there so it's a nice little bib necklace and I have another example here so I cut two of the same shape on either side and I just did a very basic bead embroidered edge using the Toho Demi rounds to give it that nice slim look and then I just punched a hole and added my earring hook so there's another little quick example and then down here I have a leaf that I cut out and I actually wanted to back it with a really pretty design so I did that here so here's what you'll get if you purchase the create wrecklessly faux leather and this is ten inches by two inches just so you can kind of get a little bit of a feel for it and it has this sort of backing on it which I actually kind of like because I'm going to show you here in a minute you can use to actually draw a pattern on and then cut it out and then it'll just be really beautiful on the other side so this is why I wanted to cover it this up and cuz I just didn't like that brown color it I think this works a little bit better if you do that sort of sable Brown that we have but I wanted to kind of cover that up in my example here but in case you didn't have the studs and the various tool set to do this you can actually still purchase the faux leather and make this I didn't use any of the faux leather tools on this particular piece so don't worry if that's a little bit too much for you to get started with but I do recommend it it's really fun to work with so I have a round 1.25 millimeter this is the Euro punch tool here and I'm just gonna show you really easy how you know sometimes with leather you need those specialized tools but for this one you can actually just punch a hole right in the top there and let me just take a couple pairs of pliers and just show you how easy this is okay I'm just gonna open a jump ring and I'm just gonna slide it right through there and close that up and I can add that to a pendant to an earring hook but I'm just gonna I'm really gonna pull on this because I want you to see how stiff this really is so it's not going to pull out and it's not going to rip especially if you're just wearing it especially new earrings I just want to show you how really strong this faux leather is so now I'm just gonna use a pen actually and show you how easy it is to sort of cut this so just kind of freehand a nice leaf here that's a good guide and we're just taking a regular pair of scissors and I'm gonna cut while looking on the back of this so I can sort of get that shape and again you can cut whole kinds of shapes with this it's really really fun definitely recommend you try to pick them up and just play with it and just follow your pattern that you've made and there we go so I have cut off my leaf and now I can do whatever I want I can back it I can add little notches here just to give it some shape and some dimension so there you go so just it's really really fun definitely pick up some of the create wrecklessly faux leather so you can make your own designs using leaves and many other items I hope you enjoyed this video you can get all of these supplies and much more at beadaholique.com you
