Hi, this is Kat with beadaholique.com Oh in black and this is a very simple technique so you just take your beading foundation and position your fancy stone setting onto it before you do that you're gonna want to put a nice little knot at the end of your thread so just go ahead and tie a quick surgeon's knot if you're not familiar with how to do this I'll do it really quick we do have another video showing you how to do this I'm also going to tie an overhand knot and just line up that not just so you can see I have a little bit more of a knot to secure my work so find the position where you'd like your fancy stone setting to be and I'm just going to go up through my beading foundation here and that knot is going to catch and now for that first one you're going to go through the outside here and in and kind of position that down so that it sits right next to it and now you're going to take your needle and you're going to create a tiny thread bridge try to show you on camera here and you're gonna go right down next to it on the inside of the well so you'll see as I pull my needle through that creates a little tiny thread bridge right like so and now you just come up to right around that next hole right there create a tiny thread bridge by going through and then going down right next to it and now you repeat that on the other side you'll just take your thread and you'll have the thread bridge is going across the back of your work but don't worry you won't see it and going down and if you find that this is not secure enough you can always go around twice so if I wanted to I could come right back up near that same hole right there go through again and back down so that's just how you do that extra one if you feel that the one loop is not secure enough for yourself and then to complete our last one here again just take your needle and you're going to come up right against the stone setting and go through that hole and go down right inside of it and now you can just tie off your thread or you can use it to do your bead embroidery around it but that is how you do and secure it your fancy stone setting and then it looks really nice when you start your bead embroidery you can find more techniques and videos at beadaholique.com you
