Retired - Hoping to Hatch Necklace

1. If you are new to wire wrapping, please watch the video: How to Wire Wrap Beads Onto a Form.
2. Using what you have learned in the video, cut about 18 inches of wire, take one silver quick link and begin wire wrapping on one tapered side of your oval by going around three times with one end of the wire. Make sure that as you continue the wrapping, you are always going the same way.
3. Onto the wire, string one 4mm pearl. Continue wrapping three times.
4. Keep wrapping until you have added on 16 pearls. To create more space on the quick link, gently press the pearls together once they have been wrapped onto the link.
5. When you come to the end, wrap the wire around three more times to meet up with the beginning.
6. Snip the excess wire.
7. To hang your chick charm, use pliers to open the jump ring that came with your charm (any 5mm jump ring will work). Slide on the quick link at the point between the pearls that has 6 wraps on it.
8. Find the center link of your finished chain necklace and use flush cutters to cut the link.
9. Open a 5mm jump ring and slide on the the two end links of chain at the place you just cut. Also slide on the jump ring attaching your charm and quick link (see photo for reference). Close the jump ring.
10. Enjoy your necklace!
