By following the instructions below you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring.
- Please watch our video: How to Bead Weave Circular Brick Stitch Around a Ring. From what you learned in this video, cut off 5 feet of nymo and thread the needle.
- Begin your first row of brick stitch on one side of the crescent focal, about 1/4 inch from the edge, with the 6/0 white seed beads. Stitch a row of fourteen beads along the bottom of the curve.
- For the second row, step up and begin a row of twenty 8/0 purple seed beads that sits across the white beads.
- For the third row, step up and begin a row of twenty-eight 11/0 gold seed beads that sits across the purple beads.
- For the fourth row, step up and begin a row of twenty-three 8/0 blue seed beads that sits across the gold beads.
- Tie off and weave in your thread.
- Use the popsicle stick to set the Austrian Crystal into the Gita Setting. Set aside.
- To make the wrapped wire loop chain, cut a piece of wire 4 inches in length. Make a wrapped wire loop. String on one white 11/0 bead, one 8/0 blue bead, and one white 11/0 bead. Make another wrapped wire loop.
- Cut another 4 inch length of wire and make a wrapped wire loop, attaching this loop to the previous loop. String on one white 11/0 bead, one 8/0 purple bead, and one white 11/0 bead. Make another wrapped wire loop.
- Cut another 4 inch length of wire and make a wrapped wire loop, attaching this loop to the previous loop. String on one white 11/0 bead, one 8/0 blue bead, and one white 11/0 bead. Make another wrapped wire loop. Set this aside. Repeat the last three steps to complete a second length of chain.
- Open one jump ring and attach one length of chain to one end of the crescent focal. Close the jump ring. Repeat for the second length of chain on the other side of the crescent focal.
- Open one jump ring and attach it to both loops of the top of the wrapped wire chain, making sure they are not tangled. Close the jump ring.
- Open another jump ring and attach it to the jump ring you just added and to the loop of the earring finding.
