Candy Corn Parade Bracelet

1. To begin this project, please watch our video: How to Flat Even-Count Peyote Stitch. From what you learned in the video, cut off a length of thread you are comfortable working with, add a stopper bead, and begin the weaving making sure to leave a 2 foot tail. Please follow the free printable PDF pattern. Start with A and work your way down, the continue with B until you have reached your desired length. The complete pattern with tube clasp will give you a 7 inch bracelet.
2. As you work you will need to tie off and weave in your thread as seen in this video: How to Tie Off and Add New Thread in Peyote Bead Weaving.
3. To attach the clasp you can see an example in our video: How to Attach Tube Clasps to Peyote Bead Weaving. For this particular design, turn your thread around and move until your thread is coming out the third "up" bead in your final row. Add 6 beads and the loop of the clasp, and go into the fourth "up" bead. Then coming out the fifth "up" bead add 6 more beads and the second loop of the clasp, and go into the sixth "up" bead. Then coming out the seventh "up" bead add 6 more beads and the third loop of the clasp, and go into the eighth "up" bead. From here you can trace your thread back to reinforce the loops. Once you have done that, tie off and weave in your thread.
4. Move to the other side and repeat the step above.
