This necklace measures approximately 16 inches with a 3 inch chain extender. To modify the length, simply adjust the number of beads strung respectively.
- If you are unfamiliar with Peyote, please watch our video: How to Do Flat Even Count Peyote.
- Using what you learned in the video. Follow along with the pattern photo to create three strips Peyote.
- Once you have the strips you will zip them up. To see how to do this, please watch our video: How to Cover a Carrier Bead in Bead Weaving. You will then add a little dab of E6000 to secure these into place. Please see the photo for reference to see how to place the bead weaving onto the carrier beads. Because all three strips will be identical, you can get the look that they are all different by rotating them around the beads a little differently.
- Let your beads dry for a few minutes while you prepare your chain and beading wire.
- Cut your chain into one length of 3 inches. Set aside.
- Cut two lengths of beading wire, 20 inches each.
- Place a bead stopper capturing both wires.
- On to the top wire, string one 6mm pearl, one 8mm pearl, one 4mm crystal, five 6mm pearls, one 4mm crystal, three 8mm pearls, one 4mm crystal, five 6mm pearls, one 4mm crystal, one 6mm pearl, one 4mm crystal, one carrier bead with bead weaving, one 4mm crystal, one 6mm pearls, one 4mm crystal, one carrier bead without weaving, one 4mm crystal, one 6mm pearls, one 4mm crystal, one carrier bead with bead weaving, one 4mm crystal, one 6mm pearls, one 4mm crystal, one carrier bead without weaving, one 4mm crystal, one 6mm pearls, one 4mm crystal, one carrier bead with bead weaving, one 4mm crystal, one 6mm pearls, one 4mm crystal, five 6mm pearls, one 4mm crystal, three 8mm pearls, one 4mm crystal, five 6mm pearls, one 4mm crystal, one 8mm pearl, and one 6mm pearl.
- On to both wires string on one crimp tube. String one closed jump ring. Thread the beading wire back through the crimp tube and pull snug. Crimp the crimp tube. Trim any excess wire. Add a crimp cover. Move to the beginning side of the necklace and remove the bead stopper. Repeat the above step on this side of the necklace.
- Open one jump ring and attach it to the closed jump ring you just added and to one lobster clasp. Close the jump ring.
- Open another jump ring and attach it to the other closed jump ring and to the 3 inch length of chain. Close the jump ring. To the end of this length of chain, use another jump ring to attach one Austrian Crystal channel charm.
