Abalone Treasures Necklace

1. Begin by cutting off 4 feet of NanoFil. String one thread protector and slide it down to the center of the thread so you can fold over the two strands. Tie a double overhand knot up close to the thread protector. Add a crimp cover.
2. Next thread one strand on to one needle. Thread the other strand on to another needle.
3. Now take both needles and string the beads on to both needles. String on 1 seed bead, then 1 round bead and 3 seed beads. Repeat the pattern of 1 round bead and 3 seed beads until you have added 16 round beads total. Finish with both needles coming out of the last round bead.
4. Separate the needles and on to one needle string on 4 seed beads, 1 round bead and 4 seed beads. On to the other strand, string on 3 seed beads, 1 drop bead, 1 seed bead, 1 drop bead, 1 seed bead, 1 drop bead and 3 seed beads. Next string both needles through 1 round bead.
5. Repeat the step above to create 5 full scallops. Once you have reached the end and have gone through 1 round bead with the needles together, keep them together and continue the pattern of 3 seed beads and 1 round bead until you have 16 round beads to match the other side of the necklace. Finish with adding 1 seed bead.
6. Take one strand and string it up and over a thread protector and back down. Take the other strand and go up and over the strand protector in the opposite direction criss-crossing them over the top. Take the strands and tie a double overhand knot. String the thread back down through a few beads. Trim the tails. Go back to the knot and add a crimp cover.
7. Open one jump ring and attach it to 1 spring ring clasp and to the thread protector. Close the jump ring.
8. Move to the other side of the necklace and attach another jump ring to this thread protector and to one chain extender. Close the jump ring.
