    Works but needs written instructions!

I purchased this reamer before I was aware that there is an instructional video from Beadaholique. When the package arrived I was surprised that there are no written instruction or parts identification lists. Although some aspects are intuitive, I had no idea what the black plastic collarettes were for, so I just didn't use them. Without instructions I didn't know the metal screw could/should be removed before inserting the file. I thought like any drill you loosened the jig, attached the bit, tightened, and began to enlarge the hole in my pearl! I also didn't know to drill in water, but I did have the special tweezers, which are essential for me to hold on to the pearl. So I hope the lack of instructions hasn't ruined my reamer because it was quite expensive. I also did not receive the third collarette that was shown in the video. Bottom line, this reamer did the trick, even if I put it together incorrectly and didn't have the pearl submerged in water. I don't understand why there are no written instruction! I'm glad that I happened to be surfing Beadaholique's videos to learn the correct way to use this item.
