A MESSAGE FROM YOUR FRIENDS AT BEADAHOLIQUE

We wanted to touch base with you during these unprecedented times to let you know the precautionary measures we are taking with regards to the Coronavirus and COVID-19, in order to protect the health and safety of both you and our employees.

To keep up with this fast evolving situation, we are tracking the updates and directives of federal and local authorities, as well as the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) and following their guidance. Based on the current guidelines, we remain open for online business and we have implemented the following safeguards to ensure the health and well-being of our employees and customers:

  • We are making extra efforts to keep our offices and warehouses clean by increasing the frequency and thoroughness of our cleanings and making hand sanitizer available.
  • We continue to instruct our employees to practice good hygiene, including frequently washing hands with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds and to use hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.
  • Employees are required to wear face masks and gloves during their work day.
  • We have physically rearranged our warehouse so that our employees may practice good social distancing during the performance of their jobs.
  • We are also allowing employees that are able to work remotely the option to work from home as needed.

We hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe. Meanwhile, we are here to provide for your jewelry making needs, and we hope that you find the joy of crafting to be a positive and engaging endeavor during this unusual time.

LATEST COVID-19 SAFETY, SHIPPING AND ORDER UPDATES

A Message from our CEO, Chris Bellomo

When the COVID-19 pandemic began, I don't think any of us knew what to expect or how long it would last.  I am so incredibly proud of how, though it all, our employees have maintained focus while approaching this challenge with strength, flexibility and compassion.

Some customers ask what we are doing to keep our employees safe and to help flatten the curve. It's super important to us as well.
You should know we are limiting the number of people who are permitted to work in the warehouse at any one time. All who can are already working remotely but we have also split shifts in our warehouse to allow for proper physical distancing. We're also ensuring that proper daily cleaning procedures are followed, hand sanitizer provided, and requiring our folks to wear personal protective equipment like masks and hand gloves.

I'm also announcing today that, in coordination with our Mother's Day Sale and beginning April 21st through the end of the month, Beadaholique will be donating 5% of all web sales to Feeding America, the largest nonprofit of its kind dealing with food scarcity in America.  Food banks are in dire need of supply and that urgency will only become greater in the coming months. We're all needing something to feel good about and we hope this helps you to feel the same when shopping with us.

No, it's not business as usual, and it may never be again, but whatever the outcome please know that it an honor to serve you and to fulfill our mission of being the world's most fun and engaging online resource for beading and jewelry supplies.
