Beadaholique Live Class Request List!

Hello Fellow Makers!

This is Julie and I am planning out my upcoming Beadaholique live classes that we do every Thursday at 9am PT/12pm ET. These classes have been so fun to do and I love the wonderful community we are building. Now I need your help. What classes would you like to see in the future? I can do classes that are entire projects from start to finish like a strung bracelet with Czech glass beads, I can do technique-based classes where we don't necessarily finish a project but we learn all about something like loom work or kumihimo, and we can do anything in between. Since this is just us planning it, the sky's the limit!

Please share in the comment section what classes you would like to see. What do you want to learn how to do? What type of techniques or products do you want to learn more about? Share as much detail as you like. It would be great to plan some of these classes in advance so you can get ready, get your supplies, and bead-a-long like in our upcoming Beginners Basics Beading Class on February 13th.

Thank you and happy beading!

Julie

Hello Julie, I’ve learned so much from you already and your classes have tugged my heart into unleashing my love of beads, color and creating. Thank you for these classes.

I would like to learn how to Wire Wrap Smooth Stones to use as charms for bracelets and necklaces possibly rings.

I’d like to learn about designing and putting together types and sizes of beads, separators, cupped bead ends, etc.

And yes to the classes mentioned above.

Is there a glossary of terms, techniques and common supplies and tools.

I know this is a tall order. Not asking that you create one just wondering if one exists…?

Thanks for asking. I was actually going to suggest if possible to get a project and supply list beforehand so we can work alongside you while you teach. So glad someone brought it up!
Thank you. Glad you’re feeling better.

I would like to see a tutorial on how to use “Donut” shaped stones and beads to create necklaces and bracelets. Also, how to create dangles (mixed beads and other jewelry components) for use as charms for other pieces of jewelry.

I would love to see classes on how to do a knotted necklace and different wire-wrapping techniques.

I would LOVE a freeform peyote bracelet class…earrings would work too as they’d be easier to manage in one class. As second…wire wrapping different shaped stones…even those that have a hole…would be awesome. More designs…fiber & metal wire…for the i-cord Knitter. Thank you!
