Beadaholique Live Class Request List!

Hello Fellow Makers!

This is Julie and I am planning out my upcoming Beadaholique live classes that we do every Thursday at 9am PT/12pm ET. These classes have been so fun to do and I love the wonderful community we are building. Now I need your help. What classes would you like to see in the future? I can do classes that are entire projects from start to finish like a strung bracelet with Czech glass beads, I can do technique-based classes where we don't necessarily finish a project but we learn all about something like loom work or kumihimo, and we can do anything in between. Since this is just us planning it, the sky's the limit!

Please share in the comment section what classes you would like to see. What do you want to learn how to do? What type of techniques or products do you want to learn more about? Share as much detail as you like. It would be great to plan some of these classes in advance so you can get ready, get your supplies, and bead-a-long like in our upcoming Beginners Basics Beading Class on February 13th.

Thank you and happy beading!

Julie

I really need classes on how to use the Knotty Do It All board. I want to learn how to knot evenly, do bead embroidery with it and anything to tell the truth. The inventor who does alot of tutorials still looses me. She goes really fast., She is great about answering questions if she has time. I think if we knew the projects were explained differently, a lot more people would be more interested.
Thank you.

Hello Julie,
I would like to see more jewellery making ideas using gemstone chip/nugget beads…designing charm bracelets and cluster bracelets and earrings.
I would also like to see certain techniques of how to use rhinestones as a focal on a beaded bracelet…I assume using bead weaving technique?
Just one more for your idea…I love 1950’s glass bead clip on earrings using sieve caps and headpins/wire technique…I would love to know how to make that vintage earring.
All the best

I would like to see wire wrapping techniques using non-drilled stones or glass.

Thanks for the classes – I really liked the bird nest one!

I would love to see a live class on peytwist. I understand the concept, but can’t quite figure it out.

I would love to see a class that goes over all the various components and how to use them. I see these items for purchase, but do not know what to do with them! (For example, conchos, cabochons, donut-shaped focals, end caps, bezels, bead bumpers, etc.) Also, I would really love a class (or two!) that teaches us how to design – how to put colors together, how to layout small and larger beads, how to decide what stringing materials to use, how to decide what the best clasp to use is, etc. When you start one of your classes, you usually have an array of beads you’ve selected for the project – how did you decide which beads and/or supplies you wanted to use, and why? And all of the above requests, too – loom work, wire wrapping, peyote and various other stitches. I’m a newbie, so all of the information I learn in each class has been immeasurably confidence building and helpful! Thank you!

I would like bracelets with Czech beads.

I would enjoy a loom work class. I tend to do tapestry work and always have trouble with tension.
