Retired - Zebra Print Crystal Necklace

1. First, watch our video on how to use Crystal Clay.
2. Following what you learned in the video, put on the gloves that come with your Crystal Clay. Pinch off 1/4 of the white clay that comes in the packet and 1/4 of the binder, and mix together until blended. Your mixed ball of clay should measure about 5/8 of an inch in diameter.
3. Place the clay into the bezel of your pendant and gently press it into place. Roll your finger across the surface of the clay to make sure it is spread evenly throughout the bezel, and to remove any fingerprints. You want the surface of the clay to be just slightly higher than the top edge of the bezel.
4. Using the beeswax tip applicator that comes with the Crystal Clay, place the Austrian crystal crystal chatons into the clay according to the zebra pattern shown in the photo -- or however you like. We recommend placing the jet black chatons in the clay first, to create the stripes, and then filling in the remaining space with the clear crystal chatons. (Tip: You will want to get all of your crystal chatons placed in 1 hour or less, before the clay dries out too much to work with easily.)
5. Let the clay cure for 14 to 16 hours, or overnight.
6. Cut a 20 inch length of silver chain. Slide it through the bail at the top of your pendant.
7. Open a jump ring. Slide on the last link of chain on one side of the necklace, and the loop of your clasp. Close the jump ring.
8. Open another jump ring. Slide on the last link of chain on the other side of the necklace. Close the jump ring.
9. Enjoy!
