Retired - Victorian Velvet Cuff

1. Take the solid brass cuff and trace the outline on to the ultrasuede by rolling it as you trace. Give yourself extra space around where you have traced, you can always trim it later. Cut around your outline.
2. Begin the embroidery by adding a length of thread to your needle. You will need to add more thread as you work so only use a length that you are comfortable working with.
3. Run the thread through the Thread Heaven Conditioner.
4. Tie a knot about 1 inch from the end of thread.

6. You will be using the 11/0 seed beads and starting at one end you will come up through the back side of the pattern and back stitch your way around the pattern using it as a guide. When you come to the larger dots, you will use the 8/0 seed beads. Please see photo for reference.
7. When you have your top piece completed, you will need to trim the black ultrasuede to fit the back side of the cuff.

9. Lay the pieces of ultrasuede around the cuff and use the 11/0 seed beads to complete a basic beaded edge all the way around the cuff.
10. Tie off your thread and weave it in.
