1. Before you begin, watch the video: How to Weave a Beaded Edge Onto Flat Silver Silk. This video will demonstrate how to stitch the beads onto your wire mesh.
2. Use a pair of flush cutters to cut a 16" length of silver plated flat wire mesh. Beginning about an inch from one end, stitch a picot beaded edge onto the mesh edge as demonstrated in the video. For the first 4 3/4" use only the 11/0 seed beads. Then use a Rizo bead for the picot beads in the center 4 3/4". Finally, finish up with another 4 3/4" of all seed beads.
3. Watch our video on How to Tie Off and Add New Thread. This will show you how to add more thread if you run out while working, and also how to tie off your thread at the end of your weaving.
4. Attach a 5x5mm ribbon crimp to each end of the wire mesh. Select a 4mm jump ring from your assortment and open it. Place one ribbon crimp loop and a lobster clasp onto the ring and close the ring.
5. Select a 5mm jump ring from your assortment and attach it to the ring on the other ribbon crimp.
