Star dust and moon shine are counterbalanced in these mixed metal earrings, glistening with JudiKins Glitter Rox in 2-part epoxy resin.
Instructions

In addition to the materials listed above, we also recommend using a face mask and some disposable gloves for safety. Be sure to cover your work surface when using resin. To complete this project, you will also need a toothpick and a heat source such as a lighter or small torch.
  1. Set up your moon and star bezels in a well-ventilated and dust-free area.
  2. Take a small pinch of JudiKins Glitter Rox in Quicksilver and fill the gold moon bezel so the glitter is level with the sides of the bezel. In this same manner, fill the silver star bezel with Glitter Rox in Dollar Gold.
  3. Please watch our video on how to use Nunn Design Resin. Put on your face mask and disposable gloves. Based on the technique shown in the video, mix the resin in a mixing cup and stir with a craft stick gently until all striations are gone. Set aside.
  4. Use a toothpick to carefully drip the resin into each bezel until it reaches the edge to form a low dome. Use your toothpick to gently guide the resin into the Glitter Rox and into the corners of both bezel.
  5. Let the resin harden and cure for three days before proceeding.
  6. Once the resin has cured, use pliers to attach a gold earring hook onto the loop of your star bezel. Then attach a silver earring hook onto your moon bezel. Enjoy your earrings!
