A little trick to these earrings is that you will be turning head pins into eye pins. To do this, you will snip the head off the head pin and create a simple wire loop at the very end. This way you have a nice long eye pin to work with!
- Turn a head pin into an eye pin by snipping off the head and creating a simple wire loop at the end. Slip seven 3mm bicones onto the new eye pin and then create a simple wire loop at the end. Trim off excess wire. Create a total of 3 of these beaded segments.
- Place a 4mm bicone onto the beadable earring hook. Slide it up as far as it will go and then create a simple wire loop at the base. Please see photo for reference as to the orientation of the loop.
- Open a jump ring and slip a Trilliant pendant onto it. Before closing the jump ring, slip the simple wire loop from one of your bicone beaded segments onto the jump ring. Now close the jump ring.
- Your poppy festoon link has a loop on either end. Onto each of those loops, connect a bicone beaded segment via its simple wire loop.
- Please look at the photo of the project now. We are going to connect everything together. Open a jump ring and link to it the three beaded segments via their simple wire loops (the two connected to the poppy festoon link and the one with the pendant attached. The one with the pendant attached goes between the two connected to the poppy festoon link). While the jump ring is still open, slip on the earring hook, making sure it's facing the right direction. Close the jump ring.
- Please repeat steps 1 - 5 to make your second earring. Enjoy!
