By following the instructions below you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring. You will also need a paper towel for this project.
- Please watch our video: How to Use Vintaj Patinas and Glaze.
- Note that you can follow the placement of the Patina by referring to the photo or you can choose your own placement for a unique design.
- Begin by adding a few drops of Emerald Patina to a scrap of paper on your work surface. Take a paint brush and dab the patina on to the front of the filigree stamping in your desired area. Quickly dab and wipe off the excess Patina with a paper towel so the color remains in the crevices of the design. You may also want to not wipe away some of the color, but please note that patina dries very quickly.
- Repeat the above step with the other colors to get your desired look.
- Open the loop of one earring finding the same way you would a jump ring and string on the painted filigree piece so that it is facing forward and close the earring loop.
