Retired - Pink Ombre Heart Compact

Show your love of design with this pink ombre heart shaped compact. This sparkling accessory is as functional as it is fun with a pretty mirror safely tucked inside of the heart.

Please note: You can make this project with 2 packages instead of 3 packages of Austrian crystal pp14 chatons in light rose if you use 10 - 20 more fuchsia colored ones at the bottom of the heart. The result will be very similar, there will just be less pink at the top. Please note, the closeness that you lay the stones into the clay greatly affects how many chatons end up being used.
  1. Begin by watching the video: How to Use Crystal Clay.
  2. Based upon what you learned in the video, mix up a gumdrop size amount of cotton candy pink Crystal Clay. After it is thoroughly mixed, use your fingers to form it into a heart shape (mimicking the shape of the bezel heart setting).
  3. Press the clay into the bezel portion of the compact and use your fingers to push it to the edges. Work slowly and carefully, keep pushing it to the edges and smoothing it out. When you are happy with how it is spread out, use just the tip of your finger to smooth out any fingerprints.
  4. Take your magical pick and set down 50 Austrian crystal size pp14 chatons in fuchsia into the base area of the heart. Make sure that you press them down so that their edge is just below the clay surface. It also helps if you set the ones along the side of the heart first.
  5. After you have set the fuchsia chatons, set 80 rose colored ones. You want these to form the middle layer. Finally set 90 light rose chatons at the top of your heart.
  6. Let cure overnight.
