Retired - Pitre Pom Earrings

1. Pre-cut 6 lengths of 3mm rolo chain as follows: two lengths of 10 links (3/4 inch each), two length of 15 links (1 1/8 inch each), one length of 20 links (1 1/2 inch), and one length of 25 links (2 inches). Set aside.
2. Unfasten the end of your beading hoop, and string on one 10mm white pom pom. To string the pom poms onto the beading hoops and headpins, you will need to work the tip of the wire through the dense center portion of the pom pom and test to make sure it is secure.
3. String on the end link of one 3/4 inch chain.
4. String on one 10mm red pom pom. Keeping it positioned toward the open end of your beading hoop, string on other end link of the chain added in step 3 by bringing the opposite end of the chain around the outer edge of the red pom pom and stringing the end link onto the hoop.
5. String on the end link of one 1 1/8 inch chain.
6. String on one 15mm purple pom pom, and bring the chain from the above step around the outer edge of the purple pom pom in the same manner as you did in step 4.
7. String on the end link of the 2 inch chain, and then string on the end link of the 1 1/2 inch chain.
8. String on one 20mm blue pom pom, and repeat the process described in step 4 to attach the chains from the above step around the outer edge of the blue pom pom as follows: first string on the last link of the 1 1/2 inch chain, and then string on the last link of the 2 inch chain.
9. Repeat steps 5 and 6 to string on another 15mm purple pom pom with 1 1/8 inch of chain around its outer edge.
10. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to string on another 10mm red pom pom with 3/4 inch of chain around its outer edge.
11. String on one more 10mm white pom pom and close your beading hoop.
12. To attach the pom pom dangles from your draped chain, begin by stringing a headpin through one 10mm yellow pom pom. Make a wrapped wire loop, and attach the loop to the chain draped under one of the purple pom poms, hanging it onto the 9th link down from the end link that rests between the purple and red pom poms (see photo for reference).
13. String a headpin through one 10mm green pom pom, make a wrapped wire loop, and attach it to the center link of the 2 inch length of chain draped under the blue pom pom (see photo for reference).
14. String a headpin through one 10mm pink pom pom, and repeat the process in step 12 to attach it to the chain draped under your other purple pom pom (see photo for reference).
15. To attach your earring hook, use pliers to open the loop of your earring hook the same way you would open a jump ring. String on the top loop of your beading hoop. Close the loop. Enjoy your earrings!
