Good quality, poor color representation

I purchased three strands to make a 108 bead mala with black glass seed spacer beads and black onyx guru beads. While the color of the gemstones were constant from strand to strand, they were all much more green than the images on the site. The gemstone quality is good with a nice luster and consistent size. The color of gemstone I received was more of a chartreuse than an olive or golden-green as seen in the image. Serpentine is a natural material with broad variation of hues and textures. I have ordered from other sources which show multiple stands to illustrate a product's color variation. This helps me to know what range I'll receive if I order.
