A petite TierraCast floral charm with artisan appeal forms the focal point of these elegant spring earrings. Bright dabs of Vintaj patina ensure that this project is anything but a wallflower.

Instructions

In addition to the materials listed, you will also need some paper towels to complete this project. By following the instructions below you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring.

To begin, please watch our video on how to use Vintaj patina. Set out 1 TierraCast floral charm on your work surface.
Pour out a little bit of the jade green patina onto your work surface. Using a dry paintbrush, dab the patina into the etched stem and leaves of the floral charm. Quickly blot away the excess patina with a paper towel. Wait a few minutes for the patina to dry.
Pour out a little bit of the pink petalite patina onto your work surface. Using another dry paintbrush, dab the patina into the etched flower bloom on the floral charm. Quickly blot away the excess patina with a paper towel. Wait about an hour for the patina to completely dry.
Using flat nose pliers, open the loop of 1 earring hook the same way you would open a jump ring. Slide on the hole at the top of the floral charm. Close the loop.
Enjoy your earrings!
